FLL Robotics at Riverbank St. Park - Setup

On Friday evening, Jan. 26, one of the coldest days of the year in one of the coldest spots in NYC, the A-Team gsthered at Riverbank to set up for the gala weekend tournament featuring 140 teams from the NYC area. Here are some pics of how we went from an empty space. The last pic was shot from the balcony over the weekend showing what it all looks like.

Introduction to Norm's Robotics

Since I retired in June 2002, I have been volunteering with NYCFIRST. (More on how I ended up doing this in future postings.) I mostly work on FIRST LEGO League activities, designed for ages 9-14 and am somewhat involved in the FRC and VEX activities on the high school level.

This blog will be devoted to robotics activities around the New York area as part of my activities as liason with the schools and the team coaches.
